Lactose Anhydrous

Anhydrous Lactose is a rapidly dried Solution of Lactose at high temperature which is then milled and sieved to the required particle size distribution.

Anhydrous lactose offers the best compactability of all grades of lactose.

Anhydrous lactose is well suited for direct compression applications and formulations containing moisture sensitive drugs, due the absence of crystal water.

It is the recommended form of lactose for dry granulation because its brittle nature allows re-compaction without loss of tabletability.
